A gourmet experience in our Mora Mora Bistro del Mare means treating yourself to a light lunch and a romantic dinner at a refined beach on the crystal-clear sea of San Foca, half an hour from Lecce and Otranto. It is a journey into Salento's seafood cuisine offered in a contemporary key, distinguished by the use of seasonal products, mostly local, starting with fish and seafood from lower Salento. A selection of starters based on tuna, cuttlefish, prawns, scampi and the catch of the day, all prepared daily to ensure safety and natural flavour. Outside the biological rest periods, on request you can try sea urchins and deep-sea and farmed oysters from Gallipoli and Porto Cesareo.
The first courses – all freshly prepared – are varied and flavourful, with pasta dishes including chitarrine, cavatelli and orecchiette. The second fish courses are also delicious: crispy fry, lobsters, sea bream, sea bass, croaker, sliced tuna in bread crust with courgette scapece and grilled pepper sauce.
And for those who don't like fish there are fresh farm cheeses, grilled vegetables, salads and sliced Salento Angus beef with rocket and Parmesan sauce, all accompanied by a glass of Apulian, national or international wine.
